Green Balkans has, with the help of radio tracking, found a new pair and a new nest of the endangered Eastern Imperial Eagle.
The new nest is on an artificial nest installed by Green Balkans.
From the Green Balkans website:
We are happy with these findings, both because of the newly occupied territory and the fact that the eagles settled in one of the artificial nests installed by Green Balkans last year.
Thus, two modern techniques for monitoring and nature conservation – i.e. radio telemetric tracking of Imperial Eagles and installment of artificial nests, proved their absolute efficiency in Bulgaria.
